The Squire of Longbourn: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

Thomas Bennet. Smart dad. Funny man. A bit grumpy, living in a time of big dresses and fancy parties.

And he's watching his five daughters fall in love, like it's his favorite show.  But he's almost got his quiet space, his cozy reading room, and has decided to keep out of his daughters' lives. So when he looks at their love stories, all he sees is a big mess, served with lots of tears and heartache.  His daughters are hard to control—and it's even harder to not interfere.  Make that impossible. Because his girls keep dragging him in. And no matter how hard he tries to stay calm, they break through his cool front and make him get involved.

Over a book in his comfy room, he gets to know their secrets. Then he spends many sleepless nights, helping them through their problems.

He listens to their fears. He makes them laugh. He becomes more lively dealing with their troubles.

Then he tells them to ignore his advice. He wants peace, but with them, everything gets complicated.  It was supposed to be a simple task.

A secret. But their love stories are about to turn these secrets upside down.
